Saturday I was at Clumber Park with Chris, Gemma and Denzel. Denzel is their beloved VW camper van. We had a great time capturing these images and I’m really looking forward to the wedding at Breadsall Priory in Derbyshire.

I met Kate and Graham last year as they were guest at a wedding I was photographing. They are one super cool couple and Kate is a brilliant make up artist and the owner of GLOSS . I have photographed lots of GLOSS brides and their make up always looks amazing. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in December at Thrumpton Hall.

On Sunday we spent an hour at Wollaton Park for their engagement shoot. Thanks guys for being so awesome and I look forward to seeing you soon.

Enjoy!

A few days ago I met Alka and Neal at Thrumpton Hall for their engagement shoot. Super cool couple who absolutely loved the camera. Actually, Alka and Neal were not to crazy about having their photographs taken but once I showed them the Crash-Art love it was all good. You would think they were made for having their photos taken. Great job guys and I’m really looking forward to the wedding.

Today was another Wollaton Hall engagement shoot with another cool couple, Katie and Phil. We spent an hour walking around the lake in the beautiful weather, capturing awesome portraits of the two of them.

I’m really looking forward to their wedding at Norwood Park in August.

For the photographers, I used the Canon 5D Mark II with a Canon 70-200 2.8 IS L lens. Natural light only. Photoshop was limited to my Crash-Art film effect actions.

Yesterday I was at Rufford Abbey for Dawn and Andy’s engagement shoot. We were hoping for dry weather but instead we got your typical English day, grey and lot’s of rain. You can actually see the rain drops in most of the photos. Between shots we were running for the umbrellas and my camera was going under my jacket. Considering the circumstances, we got awesome Crash-Art for 2 hours of shootin’ and having fun. I can’t wait for your wedding guys, you are super cool and so in love.

For the photographers. The shoot took place between 12pm-2pm. I used a Canon 5D Mark II and switched between the Canon 70-200mm 2.8 IS L and the Canon 24-70mm 2.8 L. No reflectors were used just natural UK light. I only pulled out the 580ex flash for the last 3 images. I used manual mode for the entirety of the shoot and used various camera techniques to make it look as though we took the photos on a nice sunny spring day with some spring rain. Not the grey windy rainy day it really was. ;-)

After the summer I will be offering one to one mentor sessions. For further details click here Crash-Art mentoring.

Just received this awesome comment from Dawn and Andy – “Thanks for a fun and memorable day. You made us feel so at ease. We love all of the images, it is going to be so hard to choose one. We would have never imagined a good photograph could come from getting in a tiny hole in the wall, but with you anything is possible. It is good to know that we can rest assured knowing that you will capture our wedding day with style.”

Thanks guys I really appreciate that and can’t wait for your wedding. Crash

Today I met Alison and Andrew at Wollaton Hall for their Crash-Art engagement shoot. The weather was great and the passion and love was flowing. It took a few seconds for them to warm up to the camera but once they did it was on!!! You guys rock and it was a pleasure spending a fun filled hour with you this morning. Enjoy the champagne when it arrives and I will see you at the wedding.

For the photographers reading this. The time was 10am with sun and clouds present. Camera used was Canon 5D Mark II, lens Canon 70-200 2.8 IS for all photos except the first image. No flash was used although I did have the Canon 580 ex II in the bag. Photoshop was limited to a few Crash-Art actions.

Today was Beck and Tim’s engagement shoot and Wollaton Hall. They are getting married in August and it’s going to be an awesome wedding. It was raining all morning and I thought we were going to have to cancel the shoot. We decided to meet at Wollaton Hall and take our chances. I’m glad we did because for the 90 mins we were there it was beautiful weather.  Walking back to the cars though the heavens opened. You guys were great and I hope you like the Crash-Art images. I will never forget that psycho swan and I hope they send you a new umbrella Beck. At least we saved those little Canadian babies.

A few days ago I was at Wollaton Hall photographing an engagement session for Giles and Natalie. They are getting married in May at St. Mary’s church and will celebrate at the Lace Market Hotel. They both do not enjoy having there photograph taken but believe me they are naturals and you guys were great. I’m so glad I didn’t have to make animal noises to make you laugh ;-) Crash Taylor Nottingham Wedding Photographers.

Yesterday I spent a freezing hour at Wollaton Park with Janie and Paul who are getting married in March at Fawsley Hall. We had a great time despite the freezing temperatures and we definitely got some exercise. I’m really looking forward to photographing their wedding. It’s going to be an intimate wedding with approx 45 guests. I hope you enjoyed the champagne and here are a few Crash-Art favourites from the day.
