Rik and I decided to start an edit on the first four weddings of 2012 with a mixture of stills and motion, which some folks call fusion. It’s done so check out Wedding Fusion
Every bride who has seen our wedding films has booked a film for their wedding. It’s definitely the way forward but the marketing is so important as well as giving it that cinematic look. Enjoy!
A few weeks ago, Rik and I shot fusion (stills/film) for Rachel and David’s wedding at Woodborough Hall. The day started at Rachel’s parents house, then to the church and finally to Woodborough Hall. The weather was beautiful and everyone was having such a great time. This is a local venue for me, so it’s always nice to shoot close to home. Also, this place has delicious food cooked by chef Des Sweeney. The film is below and so are some of my favourites from the day.

Can you tell us where and how David proposed? He took me on a surprise holiday to Tanzania. He proposed at RasNungwi Zanzibar, during a romantic candlelit dinner on the beach.
The most memorable moment of the day?
Rachel – It was all so fantastic, it’s hard to pinpoint just one moment. I felt really excited as I walked down the aisle and saw Dave stood there waiting for me.
David – Shaking like a leaf at the front of the church and then seeing Rachel enter; she was a vision in white! Wonderful.
What advice would you give to brides reading this who are planning their wedding?
Plan well ahead of time and give your wedding venue a detailed itinerary of what you’d like them to do during the day. On the actual day do everything that you want to do and enjoy every minute of it.
Did you go over budget? No, we were about spot on!
What a great day! Rik and I cruised up in the morning and had an espresso in the elegant country bar. Stapleford Park is a stunning exclusive country house and is one of my favourite wedding venues close to home, the photo opportunities are endless. After the espresso, we made our way to one of the bridal suites to start Jacquie’s bridal prep photographs. The whole family was there, it was such a special time for everyone in the room. We felt very special being part of it. The ceremony rocked in the Orangery due to the fantastic weather and love in the air. The rest of the day, we captured everyone enjoying themselves in the gardens, before getting ready to capture the speeches and first dance. Jacquie looked stunning in her Jenny Packham dress and Patrick was rocking’ the handmade Scottish kilt. Enjoy the honeymoon.

Patricks most memorable moment was also the moment I walk in.
