Saturday I photographed the beautiful wedding of Tara and Matt. We started the day with bridal preparations at Tara’s parents home and then onto the church for the ceremony. Once the ceremony was over we headed to Colwick Hall hotel for the marquee reception. The weather couldn’t have been better, we were loving it. Tara looked beautiful and was one of the calmest brides I have ever photographed. They are so in love and Matt is one cool dude! It was a perfect wedding for a perfect couple. Have a brilliant time in Cypress! A big thanks to my new assistant Jill, great job! Also, I wanted to give a shout out to Lisa Hilliard for coordinating a wonderful day.

For the photographers who follow my blog: Equipment used for this wedding – Two Canon 5D Mark II’s, Canon 16-35mm f2.8 II L, Canon 24-105mm f4 L IS, Canon 70-200mm f2.8 L IS, Jessops video lights, Lastolite reflector and Canon speedlites for the first dance. Most of the day I was on AV, widest aperture at ISO 400. The first dance was shot in manual as well as entering and leaving the church. Crash-Art workshops.
