Saturday was the beautiful winter wedding of Victoria and Peter. The day started at home for bridal preparations. We then headed to the church before cruising to Lakeside in Nottingham. It was a gorgeous winter day, the light was lovely and white snow everywhere! Victoria was a champion spending 20 mins outside in her gorgeous gown for photos. My hands were blue and my assistant Jill frozen but we loved every minute of it. Have a great honeymoon guys, you so deserve it!

This was my last wedding of 2010 and what a great year it has been. As you know, wedding photography is my passion and sometimes I have to pinch myself hard because I feel like I’m dreaming! There is nothing better then capturing the love and laughter that two people and their friends & family share on this special day. Now it’s time to rest and enjoy the holidays with the family in Espana. 2011 is going to be a very busy year, my busiest yet!

A huge thanks to my assistant Jill for all her hard work and putting up with my creative moods I’m already looking forward to our wedding adventures next year!

What a brilliant day we all had. Carly and Keith had a very intimate wedding at the beautiful Old Vicarage restaurant in Yorkshire. Carly looked amazing in her dress and the love & laughter flowed throughout the day. I am the luckiest person to be able to photograph such beautiful occasions.

What a brilliant day Jill and I had with Claire and Craig at Norwood Park in Nottinghamshire. I love this intimate venue, the photo opportunities are endless. The day started at the exclusive Vicarage hotel in Southwell. We then headed to church for the ceremony and back to Norwood Park for the reception. Claire looked WOW and Craig very cool! Family and friends were loving it but most of all the bride and groom had the best day of their lives!

Can you tell us where and how Craig proposed?

Craig proposed on holiday in Aruba, in a beautiful chic restaurant the screaming eagle (http://www.screaming-eagle.net/).
We celebrated with champagne and the chill lounge all to ourselves.

The most memorable moment of the day?

Claire: Everything was special to me on the day, seeing Craig looking gorgeous.
The amazing cars,  beautiful venue and I really enjoyed the photography it made me feel like a celebrity.

Craig: So many special moments through the day but if i had to pick just one it would be…
Seeing Claire for the first time when she walked down the aisle in her beautiful dress and a beaming smile across her face.

What advice would you give to brides reading this who are planning their wedding?
Go to wedding fair’s to get inspiration like Birmingham NEC
Book everything early to avoid disappointment.
Choose a venue with plenty of space and beautiful surroundings.
We booked our honeymoon through destinology and guest contributed to our honeymoon via a special account.

A few of my favourites from their wedding adventure.

What a brilliant two days spent with Tara and Neil at the exclusive Rushton Hall in Northampton. Friday was a beautiful Indian ceremony full of colour and tradition while Saturday was a classic English wedding set within the majestic rooms of Rushton Hall. We had exclusive use of the Hall so it was activity after activity. Tara looked stunning in her Bridal Couture handmade dress and Neil well he was just full of happiness and love all day! The honeymoon was kept a secret so wherever you are, enjoy it to the fullest!
