Wedding photography as you know is my passion. I love the fact that my clients put the photography at the top of their list. They know how important photography is on such a magnificent day dedicated to their love and lifetime commitment.
Emma and Duncan are a super fun, funky couple who love photography and drum and bass. It seemed like most of the guests had cameras and were having a great time snapping away. Emma looked beautiful and Duncan was definitely Mr. Cool. The best part for me was when they left the church to the sounds of Pendulum.
Crash Taylor interviews the bride. A new project started a few weddings ago, which I hope will give future brides who read the blog some inspiration and ideas for their dream day!
Wedding Venue: St. Wilfrid’s Church, Wilford
Reception Venue: The Beeches Hotel and Spa
Wedding Dress: Margaret Lee
Shoes: New Look
Florist: Zinc, Pelham Street
Make-Up: Myself
Hair: Steve at 28
Jeweller: Solitaire Goldsmith, Pelham Street
Transportation: Beetle Drive UK
Wedding Breakfast Meal?
Starter – Fantail of melon
Main – Roast beef with Yorkshire pudding and all the trimmings/ winter vegetable crumble with passata sauce
Dessert – Apple crumble with custard
Wedding Cake: by Marks and Spencer
First Dance Song: Somewhere over the rainbow by Judy Garland
Can you tell us where and how Duncan proposed: We’d talked about marriage for awhile, Duncan had asked my Dad’s permission and whilst on the train to Birmingham asked if I fancied going to the jewellery quarter to pick a ring. Once we had the ring, he then proposed on a park bench.
The most memorable moment of the day? Leaving the church to the sounds of Pendulum.
What advice would you give to brides reading this who are planning their wedding? Forget tradition, think about what you and your husband like and incorporate your personalities into the day.
Honeymoon: Mauritius
