Saturday I was at Clumber Park with Chris, Gemma and Denzel. Denzel is their beloved VW camper van. We had a great time capturing these images and I’m really looking forward to the wedding at Breadsall Priory in Derbyshire.

Last month this image won a gold award in the wedding photojournalism category hosted by the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers.
It was one of the last photos I took before packing up and heading home. I love it that the bride and bridesmaid are having so much fun! It’s definitely what weddings are all about!
Gear used – Canon 5D Mark II, Canon 24-70 2.8 L and 3 Canon 580 EX II Speedlites.
Camera settings – Manual exposure, Shutter speed 1/500, Aperture f4, ISO 1000. Shot at 24mm and there were 3 Canon EXII speedlites. 2 off-camera and 1 on-camera.

I met Kate and Graham last year as they were guest at a wedding I was photographing. They are one super cool couple and Kate is a brilliant make up artist and the owner of GLOSS . I have photographed lots of GLOSS brides and their make up always looks amazing. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in December at Thrumpton Hall.
On Sunday we spent an hour at Wollaton Park for their engagement shoot. Thanks guys for being so awesome and I look forward to seeing you soon.

Jade and Andy celebrated their wedding at Woodborough Hall. It was brilliant! As usual, a big thanks to Tillyboo Events for hosting a perfect day.
Friday I spent 3 hours with Rebecca and Delroy at Thrumpton Hall photographing their ceremony, group shots and bride and groom portraits. We all had such a laugh and I hope you had a brilliant time at Cape. Also, a big thanks to Debbie Knox at Thrumpton Hall for organising the event.

I have four weddings in October with the first being at Coombe Abbey, which is an impressive venue. It’s now time to catch up with editing, albums, etc… and spend time with baby Jake.
