Michelle and Andy

The wedding season is in full force and I’m loving every minute of it. (As you all know, wedding photography is my passion.) Saturday Emma and I photographed the wedding of Michelle and Andy. As usual, the day started at Michelle and Andy’s home, then onto the church for the ceremony. Afterwards we headed to Woodborough Hall in Nottinghamshire for the reception. Everybody had a GREAT time, Michelle looked stunning and Andy like James Bond. Have an awe-inspiring romantic honeymoon and I will speak to you soon.

A big thanks to Sarah and Natalie at Tillyboo Events for hosting another perfect day. Tillyboo rocks!

Here are a few Crash-Art favourites.

Helen and Jonathan

Friday was the wedding of Helen and Jonathan. The day started at home for bridal prep and then onto the church for the ceremony. Afterwards we headed to Prestwold Hall for the reception. Despite the torrential rain we did manage to get outside for a few minutes. Helen and Jonathan were champions, I don’t know many who would venture outside in the rain for photos. If you look closely, you can see the rain in the photos, awesome! It was  a great day, everybody had such a good time. Helen looked stunning and Jonathan didn’t look too bad himself either. Have a great honeymoon and speak soon.

Emma

Most of you know my assistant Emma but if you don’t, now you do! She has been my full time wedding assistant for approx 35 weddings. Her photography just keeps getting better and better and soon I will be out of a job ;-) The plan is next year she will be an associate shooter, shooting the smaller weddings under Crash Taylor Photography as well as photographing her own weddings. I really don’t want this to happen, as it means I will need to look for another assistant. Emma knows me so well, that when I need a reflector or the flashes switched to slave mode it just magically happens without me saying a word, AWESOME!

On Friday, we photographed a wedding at Prestwold Hall, which is a stunning venue for a Nottingham Wedding Photographer!  As we were leaving the church the heavens opened BIG TIME! Torrential rain is an understatement. It was like golf balls hitting the car. The wedding car was in front of us and the Prestwold sign was approaching. I asked Emma to grab the Canon 5D Mark II and nail the shot, which she did and it turned out be be one of my favourites of all time! Passenger seat shooting at it’s best! Check out the rain, incredible image. A moment in time the bride and groom will cherish forever!

Crash-Art images coming Tuesday!

Alka and Neal

A few days ago I met Alka and Neal at Thrumpton Hall for their engagement shoot. Super cool couple who absolutely loved the camera. Actually, Alka and Neal were not to crazy about having their photographs taken but once I showed them the Crash-Art love it was all good. You would think they were made for having their photos taken. Great job guys and I’m really looking forward to the wedding.

Nicola and Steve

Another awesome Crash-Art wedding yesterday at Thrumpton Hall, Nottingham. Emma and I had a brilliant time photographing the beautiful wedding of Nicola and Steve. The whole day was perfect from bridal prep at the family house, the marquee ceremony looking over the river, drinks and canapes in the rose garden and the wedding breakfast  in the exquisite marquee. Nicola looked stunning in her Vera Wang dress and Steve couldn’t take his eyes off of his beautiful wife all day. Have a great honeymoon guys and speak to you soon.

A big thanks to everybody involved, Sarah and the team at Tillyboo Events, Thrumpton Hall, McArtney’s Catering and everybody else that made it such a perfect day. Also, a bigger thank you to my assistant Emma for everything you do for me throughout the wedding day, the wedding adventures wouldn’t be the same without you.

Here are just a few of many Crash-Art favourites. I look forward to looking through the rest tomorrow.
