month: February 2009
I just want to thank all my clients who have booked me to photograph their beautiful wedding adventure for 2009. My brand new Canon 5D Mark II’s are going to get a great workout helping me create stunning images for my clients. My inspiration and creativity level is crazy at the moment. I can’t believe how much I love my profession. I could not imagine doing anything else. Well maybe I would like to be a world champion Formula 1 driver.
Everyday I wake up thinking is this going to be it, is Ilona going to go into labour. I’m so excited I don’t know what to do with myself. We have bought everything we need and today we finally finished washing all his new clothes. I hope the washing machine is still working.
2009 is going to be an amazing year, 30 + beautiful wedding adventures, portrait shoots, workshops, holidays in Los Angeles, Spain, Amsterdam and Finland and family visiting from across the globe. Loving it!
I just want to thank my family, friends and fellow photographers for all their kind wishes and support they have given me over the last year. This is definitely the best time of my life and thank you all for being a part of it.
I was going through my hard drives today before they go into storage and found some photos I would like to share with you. Crash Taylor Wedding Photography Nottingham
A photo I took of my beautiful wife a few years ago which also won an award.

This is a photo my father took while we were on holiday in Mexico. Check out my first polaroid camera around my neck.

A portrait I took of my best friend Matt in the Hollywood Hills in 2007.

A portrait I took of my friend Sandra at Nottingham Castle a few years ago.

A studio portrait I took of my cousin and baby Kayden.

A studio portrait I took of a model.

Another studio shot of a model.

A couple of photos I took of some little dudes.

Another studio photo of model Ami.

A couple of first dance photos I took of Naomi and Andy last year.

Here are a few images I have taken over the last few weeks. The Taylor family is so excited at the moment with the impending arrival of our first child. He will also be the first grandchild for mine and Ilona’s parents so you can imagine the excitement in the air. The due date is February 22nd!
My second wedding for 2009 will be at Newstead Abbey on March 14th! In the meantime it’s baby shopping and reading as many books as I can on how to be the perfect father!
This was taken a few days ago at Costa Coffee on the 3rd floor of Waterstones books in the city centre. It had been snowing the night before as you can see on the roof tops. Canon G10 with natural light.

A few images of my friend Rachel taken last week at Lace Market Photography studios. I’m trying to spend more time in the studio but to be honest I much prefer being outdoors. These images were taken using 3 Bowens strobes and a Canon 5D Mark II.

Taken a few weeks ago at Newstead Abbey. Ilona is 9 months pregnant and still looks as beautiful as ever, even though she doesn’t think so. It’s not easy being 9 months pregnant, God bless her. Canon G10 and natural light.

A quick morning snap shot of my beautiful wife. Canon G10, natural light and a Photoshop action to mimic fuji film.
